- Don't just buy upgrades because you can. This will suck your money away on upgrades that you probably won't need until much later when the rewards are far higher.
- Read the signs in the tutorials. These will tell you what upgrades you really need to get through the tutorial levels. This set of levels has been designed so you will almost always have enough money to purchase what you need to get through all of the levels.
- Trophy challenges and gold medals are where the big rewards are. Make sure you work on these to get the cash for the right upgrades.
- Once you have a truck that's reasonable, head over to the playground levels. Most of these levels aren't hard, and they pay out really well.
- Start working on the harder level sets. These all pay out a LOT more than the tutorial levels.
- Check out the bonus options, there's some sneaky free cash rewards you can redeem by hunting down links on our web sites.
- See #1 - I can't emphasize enough that if you spend your money on upgrades before you need them, it will take longer to build up your bank balance to buy everything from the garage. In the end it'll all even out, but the savvy off-roader plans their route before heading down it.
Final note: The payout system in this game has been crafted so that you can buy everything in the game without having to grind levels. This does require some skill to do of course, but it is possible.
