Trail editor requirements

The 4x4 trail editor was built to work with Mozilla Firefox version 19 and above. It has been used successfully on other browsers, but we can't give priority support to them if you choose to use them and run into problems.

For editing the levels you'll need a PC of some type, plus a browser with HTML5 support (*see above note)

Transfer of files over a network connection:

Edited levels can be transferred easily to your game with the use of a web server that supports PHP scripting, and access to the server from your android device. If you already have a server running with access to a directory on it, you are ready to go. If not, you can search for the WAMP server package which includes all the components you need to run off a PC.

A guide on setting this up will be added some time in the future.

Transfer of files manually:

If you don't have the option or ability to set up or use a web server, the level files can be manually copied onto your android device. You will need access to the external storage from your PC use this method.

Transfer from someone elses server:

The level download system uses the standard HTTP web protocol to obtain its files, so if you have friends that run or manage a web server, you can also sync up to their servers and download and play their levels.
